A new year, a new season ahead

Red sky at night – shepherds (plus florists and photographers) delight! At Petals and Pixels we are very much a seasonal business for both flowers and photography. In these winter months there might seem to be little happening on the horticultural front but it is a very important time of year as the preparation for the season ahead begins. At the moment the first seeds are being planted, the ground is being prepared and we have a barn/workshop to build. The building is 12 foot by 12 foot and will become the hub for the Petals and Pixels business in the coming months. So we have a lot of work to do.

On the photography side – commissions of all types are accepted from family events to commercial residential shots for publication. It is such a range from standing in wasteland controlling a drone to photograph a gas terminal to standing in the warmth of a hotel filming a family event. Getting back to photographing weddings in the summer still seems a long way off.

So get in touch today to talk to us at Petals and Pixels about flowers and photography in the Scottish Borders and we will be happy to hear from you.
